A couple months back i posted that all of the sudden my car was stalling out and running very rich. I bought a code scanner, as was suggessted from this site, i started the car up because the scanner said the car needs to be warm for the first scan. So i looked under the hood trying to find where to hook the scanner to. I found the connections, so then i proceeded to glance around my engine bay and i saw that my fuel pressure gauge was reading 80 psi ! My dad and i tried adjusting the regulator down but the lowest it would go was 65 psi. It use to be adjusted to 40 psi with the vacuum off. I then shut the car down and rolled it back into the garage.
This regulator doesn't have 3,000 miles on it yet. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Why would this regulator give out? I am going to call jegs today and see what they can do for me. I am never buying another BBK part again, they have just created headaches for me.
