Well, I havent been on the highway since I installed my shifter and quadrant with firewall adjuster and I guess my cruise control isnt working. Does anyone know if the pedal height effects the cruise control or a sensor of some sort? I have the steeda pedal height adjuster on there as well.

Check to make sure that you didn't accidentally disconnect the cruise control cable at the throttle body. Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago and the cause was that the cable came unhooked. You should have two cables (one for the accelerator and one for the cruise control) going into the arm of your throttle body.

I assume that the throttle position sensor is used. Your pedal adjuster shouldn't affect the performance of the TPS sensor since I think that the sensor directly measures how wide open the throttle body blade is open.

If I remember correctly, there is a fuse that the cruise control is on that you should probably check.

There was a recall on mine a few years back. It always worked fine up until about a month ago. Then it got to where it wouldn't turn on unless you messed with it for a few minutes. It's a pain now. I have to keep holding the "On" button and the "Accel" button for a long time before it finally kicks in.

I Figured It Out!!!

Well, sadly enough boys and girls when I returned my clutch pedal to stock height my cruise control started working! When I lowered the clutch pedal again to match the brake, it stopped working. So apparently ford doesnt want you messing with the clutch pedal height :bang:

Im going to continue to play with it and see if I can rig something up.
