Problems with my car

Does anyone know of a number or email of someone from Ford that i can contact about an issue with my car that the dealership says is normal? The problem is as you all have heard about is a engine Tick noise that comes from the drivers side of the engine. The dealership says it is acceptable noise, but yet i have an article from them showing the probem does exist. I even bought a mechanics stethascope and can hear the noise from the left side head on the engine. I need to know what my options are, or am i screwed? Please help.

mine does it too.. I also get the throw out bearing noise too.. just leave it alone..

i hear a guy on here with the same problem, and guess what he had a cracked piston

thats what i'm afraid of, that it is something that will cause a performance issue later. I'll find out Wednesday when i take it to a differant ford shop. Hopefully a fresh opinion will be better.

I test drove a 2000 GT, and whenever I gave ti gas there was a ticking noise also... I was wondering about that...
