Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out what makes my 2003 Ford Mustang V6 have a rough idle only when warm. It’s when I either let it idle for a bit or when it is warm and I run into a store or something and come back out and it acts like it wants to die. It’s only when it’s warm not cold. Cold is fine. I just replaced the spark plugs and wires. PVC.
Also I’m hearing a weird grumble from the back everyone once in a while.
Last thing my suspension makes some noise in the front, wondering what good stuff I can replace it with.

Suggest starting out by cleaning the MAF sensor.

Did you install all spark plug wires following the original factory routing and using all factory looms and ties downs?

Next double check that the cooling water jacket doesn't have any air trapped inside the motor.

Yes to looks and tie downs. Forgot to mention it’s got a whole new cooling system also. I’ll look into the cooling water jacket though, thank you

Tried the MAF. Didn’t help. Also getting a new cold air intake this week. Also the crankshaft position sensor was changed recently.

For some reason my battery light will come on when I rev it to make sure it doesn’t shut off when it’s going through the rough idle

Always double check the charging system at the start of every trouble shooting session. Cut corners here at your own risk.
