before I pull the trigger tomorrow and go with a non-catted Prochamber, I just want to ask 2 final questions

- how much hp will i gain (if any) on an otherwise (diablo tune) Bullitt?

- will this turn my car into an obnoxiously loud one?

thanks

You'll gain some in the higher RPM's. Maybe a little SOTP, but nothing ridiculously huge.

The sound depends on your catback, but most prochambers I've heard have been quite sweet sounding.. they make it sound a lot more evil sounding.. but not obnoxious.

i looked at an article the other day where a otherwise stock bullitt gained 7rwhp from a prochamber, not a huge gain, but enough to feel, and yea it will sound pretty nice...

BTW what does SOTP mean?

heres another: would it be worth adding a prochamber to compliment some VT stage 1's? ive decided not to go with shorty headers as itll be too small a gain.

Hehe well now ya know. That 'term' would best be left to WOT. Don't think it gets any more open than "wide open".

I'm taking mine to get welded tomorrow. There is a crack right along the weld on the flange that bolts to the passenger side exhaust manifold. But it is about 4 years old. It was my second mod after a drop in K&N I diffently felt a difference and sounded good with the stock catback.

Prochamber IMO is one of the quieter OR pipes out, some don't like that, some do. On a stock catback you can hear it at idle and it sounds good when you crack on it.
Powerwise yeah I'd think around 5hp maybe 10hp been real generous.

well ive ordered it, real cheap too - $300 CDN for the non-catted one with black coating.

I dont really want long tubes as ill be swapping my stock mids back in for smog and i dont quite trust aftermarket catted mids.

next inline will be cams when VT has stock again.

would it make sense that ill gain about 30bhp from this combo?
