ok so i've been looking for the mufflers and i see all this in/offset crap. what the hell does this mean, and which one do i need. i saw this on flowpath and 2chambers, i didn't see for the borlas, but just as a piece of info for future reference
wtf, i was looking at the borla xr1 and they have chingos(a lot), which ones do i need. a cousin has a muffler shop and he can get the set for $120, but which ones do i ask for?
sorry if i sound paranoid of what muffler to get, but since i read about jmuva44's problem, i don't want to have to go through that. i want best set-up with no regrets like a lot of you in here.
I'd go with the Sportsman oval mufflers part# 40941 or 40942 just depends on which one you want the first one is 12" long and the other is 16" long. It's up to you but that's what i'd get
thanks, and if there's no difference besides length, i might as well keep the short ones for dump purposes. one more question, will i have a deep throaty sound which isn't too quiet but not too loud? or how would you describe the sound? thanx again 306stang
Yeah the XR1's i suggested will be deep and throaty at idle and will scream at WOT. Hope i have helped you out. I also agree with jmuva44 the magnaflow magnapacks are great but i prefer the borla's
