Diablo>hypertech. I didn't even know that company was still in business. I don't think i've ever met anyone that actually used a hypertech.

I have a Diablo and it's worked fine. It's an older programmer, but can still get the job done. The newest SCT3 and the Sniper tuners offer more options and I'm sure are more refined.

Flash Tuner

Check out Justin at VMPTUNING.COM. He will give you $ 175 for your unlock Predator towards a SCT Flash tuner. I had a Predator, I don't miss it.

Just let Tim at MPH tune your car and you'll be fine. I had a Xcal at one point but they're limited so i just got it tuned.

If you're doin boltons you can stick with it but i say if you spray it or get blown you should get tuned.

Yeah, what /\ said.

If you are seriously boosting the power (boost, spray, etc.) you NEED to have a shop re tune your computer.

However, if your only doing bolt ons and you want that little extra, a tuner is an excellent investment. I have the Diablosport Predator, and I love it. Has to be the best $200 I've spent on my GT.

Before I had my car dyno tuned I wasn’t sure if I should go with a chip or programmer. Here’s what my tuner said……

“The tune/HP will be the same. The hand held tuner can data log and has the power to adjust other things like gear ratio and fan on/off temps, tire size, Idle RPM and so on. The chip can do this also but you would have to bring it back to me every time you wanted something changed. With the hand held you could do it yourself. Some people have their car tuned and never touch it again so for that person I'd say a chip is the way to go.”

I ended up having him dyno tune my car with an SCT xcal 3 and haven’t had any issues. I wanted to have the freedom of playing with my shift points.

If you know what your doing and have sniper you will never have to go to a dyno tuner no matter what you do to your car.

I support this comment , but I do add that a Wideband is needed to dial any car in 100 percent , but Sniper does allow more adjustments by the end user than any other tuner on the market for under 400 bucks
