Project '10" Terror' finally underway.....

I'm happy to announce that I'm jumping into the 10" tire freak show known as NMRA SSO! Car is on it's way to the chassis shop and things are starting to come together. The car will be a rolling testbed for our engine program. We will be trying all kinds of new setups not yet tried in the "modular world"....pushing the envelope as far as we can. The car will be turbo charged with a 91mm turbo for NMRA SSO events. We wll also use a 98mm and 31x10.5w set-up to run some other classes. We are excited about the opportunity to show what a modular can do.....and help Randy not to be the lone gun! The car is my 99 cobra....and we are both ready for our assault on the 7 SECOND ZONE!!!

I'll post pics periodically as progress is made.

Nice man.. How much does that front end weigh??? How much did it cost you guys?

the front end weighs MAYBE 5lbs. They are almost $1100.

tsk.....tsk.....tsk........NO engine secrets........ .......except it's a MOD/TURBO combo.

The car has a stock body except for C/F 03 cobra front bumper and 4" cowl hood. The chassis is 25.5 certfied. Check out the link for more details.
