Ok I have an odd one here. I am the 3rd owner of this car and it seems like it may be a very rare one. It was produced the last month of production of 1992. The car is titled as a "Cobra GT" like the Canadian cars however it is a US car not an export. The car is Black, black leather, black top, 5 speed, premium sound and what seems like a factory installed 3.73 rear. I have the widow sticker from this car and it has the Cobra items listed as add ons at extra cost as a package for the promotion it was part of. I also have what seems like an actual SVT cert that reads:
Ford Special Vehicle Team
Certifies That
Vehicle Identification Number
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Is a Promotional-Edition 1992 Mustang Cobra GT
Assembled at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on 06/27/92
This Vehicle is #2 of a Build of 10

The car has all the right equipment as per the 93 Cobra except that it is a 92, GT-40 engine mods, correct Cobra computer in the kick panel, correct body panels and ID's, correct tail lights, and correct wheels. One thing, no rear disc brakes. Another thing is the hood installed. Installed by the dealership as part of the promotion and after market to be sure is a fibre glass ram air hood. This is listed on the window decal.
I have spoken to the original owner of my car on a few occasions and that is how I got the documents I spoke of. He did work in Ford Engineering at Dearborn and from what he told be was an insider on the beginnings of the SVT program.
What I would like to know is supposedly there are nine other Convertibles simular to my car out there in the world. Where are they now and who owns them? Any information would be wonderful.

I've never heard of this, but do know that Ford makes limited production vehicles for executives. Do you have pictures?
