proper break in for a new t-5?

i just put in a new tranny, are there any special things i should do to break it in?

just don't beat the crap out of it for a couple hundred miles.

Dont listne to him, he has no idea what hes talking about...( ) the proper break in requires slicks and about 5-6 4500 RPM launches at your local track...




































IM JOKING. just take it easy like raceoholic said, treat it like a new cluthc. youll be fine... wait like 500 miles before having the real fun with it.

only 200 miles or so? cuz ive heard miles up to about 1000 or so. is that overkill?

Ditto what they said, go easy on it for about 500 miles. When I get my Tremec put in, I plan on changing the fluid once it's broken in, or maybe after 1000 miles or so.

Just do what i did, just drive it everywhere you possibly can for a few days. Find excuses to drive it and take it easy.

so just break it in for about as long as i break in the clutch and then change the fluid at 1000 miles?
