I spoke to the owner of Protorque yesterday. He said he hasn't gotten any converters in for this car yet but if we get one in he'll do it.
Between a shift kit and torque converter restall you can see 3-4 tenths reduction, or equivalent to making more efficient use of 30-40hp
Anyone interested in being the first, email me: [email protected]
BTW, I'm in Manville, NJ and Protorque is in Bohemia, NY (on Long Island)
I also know that as soon as someone cracks the code for this car all those torque management limiters removed will make the car even more of a animal
Time needed to build the torque converter will be 5-7 days.
We got a '04 GTO to go from a 13.7 ET (bone stock) to a 13.1 with a K&N filter intake, PCMsForLess.com programming, Protorque converter and our Transgo shift-kit.
