Ok heres the story. This car has not ran in 12 years. It is an 86 f.i. all stock. It has been stored in a dry garage. I was freshining up the top end with new gaskets, etc. I pulled of the lower intake and on the very rear two ports there was milk in them. They were on both sides of the motor. Below is a pic of the rear of the lower intake gasket. The two very front ports look like they make have a very fine film of milk in them. Does this sound like a bad gasket or a cracked head or head gasket? I want to find out now while the motor is all apart. There was very little oil in the oil pan because the drain plug was stripped, but I have not seen any evidence of water in the pan. Where do I go from here?

I would say that its to hard to tell being that the oil and coolant have literally done nothing in 12 years. I would flush the coolant out extremly well and also change the oil maybe twice.

Ya, the gaskets probably all dried out.
Replace them all on the top end and reassemble the engine.
I'd run the car to operating temps, then dump the oil and check the plugs, then repeat.

is there any chance this could be the heads gaskets or does it sound more like a intake gasket. Could the head gaskets shrink? To be on both sides I would think that it would be the intake. I just dont want to put it all back together only to have to take it apart again.

I agree with him 100 percent. Also If you have the engine out of the car. Id replace the headgaskets. Def worth it to me to have all fresh new gaskets

Couple important Q's

Very rear two ports... the actual intake ports or the holes behind them (water ports)?

Did you try to start the car at all before you pulled it apart?

I spun the starter on the car just for a few seconds. It did spin, that was all I did, because there was no oil in the pan. Here is a pic. This is not my pic but my motor with the milk looked identical to this except for in the back there was a little less milk. Notice the 2 rear ports, and the very front ones. thats what mine looked like.

You say the motor has been sitting for 12 years. Milk in the internals of an engine sitting that long can be from ambient condensation. There doesn't have to be anything wrong with the motor. I've seen water inside of motors that sat for a LOT less time than that.

As said above, replace all the gaskets... sure... replace the head gaskets too. Motor is out, so why not? Were it me, I'd replace the main seals as well. I'd also look VERY carefully at the freeze plugs (all of them to include the big ones) to see if any have signs of corroding through.
