I actually have 2 questions? I own a 1992 5.0 LX. Recentely my power steering pump went out. I have decided to eliminate my ac and was wondering am i supposed to puchase a power steering pump with or without ac? I purchased the one w/o ac, but am wondering if it will work? Also, I have removed the power steering pump but cannot get the pulley off? Any suggestions would be great. I tried putting the pulley in a vice and loosening the bolt, but nothing? Any help would be great.

I took mine to a friend who works at Ford. It is a PITA to get the power steering pulley off. A normal pulley remover will not work.

you dont need to run a/c or power steering period. you can buy a belt to just run the water pump from the crank. i would do this rather than run 174183748137 dead wheel pulleys.
