Hello Everyone! I am getting ready to install a crate engine my 65 fastback and I am looking for serpentine belt setups. I am looking for pictures of engines with the serpentine belt so I can get a idea of what brackets are used and how people keep tension on the belt. Please post pics so I can get some ideas. I want to put the pulleys on outside the car to ensure alignment etc… Thanks in advance.!!!!

I am running a serpentine setup, I don't have pics at the moment though, but first I robbed the entire setup off a late 80's ford van, while it worked it looked bulky with the tensioner and idler pully.(not to mention it took quite awhile to get em cleaned up so they looked decent) I decided to spend the money and buy the march performace brackets for my alternater and P.S. pump they look 100 times better and have no clutter, the tension is put on by adjusting the alt. with a rod similar to the old V belts. Thus far Im very happy with the money spent on the brackets

If you're putting in a 347 into that 65, I hope you've also upgraded the radiator as well. The stock 289 radiator isn't up to cooling that motor. They were marginal with the stock motors.
