ok my car came with power steering on the 289, i have a newish 302 in there now with the power steering all hooked up on it and everything but the guy took off the dual groove stock pulleys to put on single groove underdrive pulleys....

i want to hook up the power steering again but am wondering if i need to get a dual groove water pump pulley or crankshaft pulley or does it not matter....thanks!

My car is 1968 coupe with 302 by the way....no A/C just P/S.

Is it possible to get a serpintine setup to work with the power steering pump....??? its got a V belt on it and ive never see a replacement pulley for power steering pumps.....??

I have a dual groove pulley on my crank... the outer-most groove runs the power steering and the inner runs the water pump and alternator.

so im assuming even though the pulley says its for a boss 302, it will work on my regular 302 since the only difference between those engines is the heads?

The Bosses also had a thicker balancer, you might get into pulley alignment issues with a Boss pulley. Only way to know is try it, or find someone that has one and compare the diameter and offset specs.

i wish there was a crank pulley for just a regular for small block somewhere that wasnt in like a pulley kit for like 170 bucks!

it would bother me to buy a whole new set up of pulleys when the previous owner JUST put these new under drive pulleys on......
