coolest purge i ever saw was at a mustangs unlimited car show in CT. this guy had a dragon painted on his hood with the purge coming out of the nostrils of the dragon, it looked sick when he purged it, like the dragon was blowing out smoke.

Damn that does look sweet. That's why I want nitrous. I want to run a purge though the nostrils of my cobra hood.

randomjoker: thanks for the comment, all orgininal paint baby!

I saw a picture of a Lightning with a 98 Cobra style hood with the N20 purging to the front at a 20° angle upward, it looked badass.

I don't think that's Zero's car. The one in his sig is a black 1994-1995. Cool pics either way.

That red stang isn't mine, I just happened to have a pic of it. My car is i my sig. Bone stock

I'm sure a setup like that wouldn't be too difficult. Just gotta break out the MacGuyver skills.

it's really easy to set up the dual purge. My buddy had a full bottle of nitrous that was a few years expired so we just set up a purge to screw with people. It was great.

We just got some brake line a bender and a tee and bent it all up the way we wanted. for doing it out of the hood though....you might have to do some dremeling on the hood and use some braided line. Could get costly.

good luck

I did that when i had nitrious. All you need is a Y fitting to come off the purge, then two lengths of Stainless steel braided hose. Then a couple of compression fittings and the little piece of pipe that goes into them. That little piece of pipe (if you know what im talking about) fits perfectly into the holes in the honeycombe type plastic in the scoops.

Heres a pic of most of the things, theres one compression fitting missing. You can see the little piece of pipe i was talking about. The way i did it is prob the most expensive way, im sure there is a cheaper way, but the SS braided lines look good under the hood.

Wow, that looks sweet! Any idea how much you paid for all that stuff? (The braids and fittings and stuff?) Do you have a few pics of it under the hood, maybe some of the scoops with the tips showing? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I never did actually finish it up. I ended up selling the whole n20 system for a new engine. I had both lines run, but still needed one compression fitting. The total cost was 175-200 with the purge, more then i originally thought.

I did do the left side, i attachted the pic, you can just hardly see the pipe sticking out. I colored the tip in with a black permanent marker so you could hardly tell it was there. Ill see if i have any pics under the hood.
