He already gave his reasoning. He wants it to be "like a race car". Give him a break. He's eighteen.

It's a truck, and he didn't say why, he said how, as in " like on a race car".

OK find the run and start wires coming from the key. Disable the start wire from the key and run it instead to the push button.
Take the run wire from the key to the toggle switch. (Cut the wire leaving the ignition going out. Take it to the toggle. If you bypass the key completely it's easy to steal the truck. Wire this up will make it easy to steal too.)
From the other side of the toggle the wire should tie back into the run circuit and jump over to the open side on the push button.
And boom turn the key flip the switch and push the button.

Use the lighted buttons and toggles, get the toggle that looks like your arming a nuke.

6x9 mb quart, 8" loud speakers for mid range, super tweeters, and now it has competition jvc arsenals 10" all the highs are driven by a 1500w 4 channel class sq, the bass has 1500w mono class d amp. All figures are RMS it can demand 300amps from the two batteries in the trunk at full load.
Of course that requires a 3g upgrade and 200amp alt.
I also custom my doorsSorry for the

Hell of a trade off, isn't it? Oh well. Better than getting nothing in return I suppose. That happens too. I work with some, it's not pretty. ..

I was into audio about 10 years ago and I have a nice woodworking shop. Pretty easy to add 200# to a car in search of the perfect sound. It's always in the way of hauling anything after you get it sounding right.

Well its in a convertible so I went for sound quality, the amps are capable of much more than I ask of them... if you have a driver (amp) capacity larger than required and keep the gain turned down you get a sign wave that does not distort. All the speakers share the load, more speakers driven with less power will have less distortion than a few driven by a large load.
Sorry I just nerded out.
But yeah turn up at full blast it's hard to sit in the car....
And I work construction so 6
