Ok, Im converting my '66 to a dual master cylinder, when I removed the stock master cylinder from the car the push rod wasn't attached to the master cylinder. My question is does the pushrod have to be attached to the new master cylinder.
Thanks,
Chad

The new master cylinder should come with a new pushrod. There's a clip on the rod that locks it into the master cylinder piston. Your old one likely didn't have a locking clip.
