I'm still trying to set up my gears after upgrading to 31 spline stuff and I cannot get the contact pattern correct for some reason. Every time I set up the pinion depth with a different shim, I still get a contact pattern too close to the toe side of the drive teeth. Even without any shims, I get a contact pattern that is toe. When I put a little shim on, the contact pattern moves farther heel, but still not in the middle of the drive teeth.
