I emailed Randall yesterday (Sat.) and I'm sure he'll get back to me soon. In the meantime, I wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem. You need to supply your own inner and outer tie rods. The kit comes with an elbow shaped adapter that fits between 81 Mustang inners and 66 Mustang outers. I need a total of approx 14 inches, but the inners recommended by Randall are WAY too long. The instructions say to cut the inners, but this is not possible because I will run out of threads. Has anyone experienced this? I bought the TRW inners because the MOOG EV 117 were not available.

Thanks

Problem Solved

Pretty amazing that Randall would respond to my e-mail on a Sunday morning and invite me to call him to work this out. But that's exactly what he did. It was a simple fix. I cut 3/4 inch off each end of the adapter elbow, 3/4 inch off the outer tie rod and 2 inches off the inner tie rod. Turns out that Randall had re-engineered the adapters to add some extra length for later cars. He even called me back after a couple of hours to check on the progress - from a car show. I would highly recommend the product and the owner.

Thanks
