Any one ever try the QTP cutouts, I just ordered some today and was wondering if they make a difference.

i heard that they actually hurt performance by causing you to lose tq. down low. i think they would be great for just cruising around town with though. then, if you go to the track, just close them up

Well they seem to help the LS1 guys and knock off like 2-3 tenths off their ET's. I guess I'll just have to do some runs with them open, half way open and closed.

Well it'll be alot louder. When you're racing, keep them closed when you launch, then open them. They'll help top end but will kill your torque.. So open it after first gear.

Ouch???? That's not that much. Try spinning a rod bearing that messed up the whole motor on a $7,300 SHM longblock, while driving home from work, two months after the warrenty is up
Sorry that just makes me so mad That motor always gave me trouble and they never did anything about it

OK, agreed, Tim, I hear ya. Petty cash compared to spinning a rod bearing on a $7300 motor. With deepest sympathy...
