I would like to get a mid pipe for my gt, will I benefit from an aftermarket H pipe withs cats or should I just leave the stock one on? I already have the magnaflow CB on order. Does anyone know where I can get a quality H pipe; not sure if magnaflow carries them, all I have seen is there X pipe.
Thanks for the info, Thaddeus

MRT has the only stainless H pipe I know of. Its about $450 for catted and $350 for off road. Anything is an improvement over stock.

I got a Mac catted h pipe, but it is not stainless steel, like your catback, MRT might be the way to go, I know there were some fitment issues in the past, but I believe that has been fixed.

I have the MRT catted H pipe and I highly recommend it if you don't mind spending the money. It fit perfectly and of all my mods I felt the biggest performance boost from it. FYI, when I added a Magnaflow catback I experienced a very bad drone around 2000rpm although others don't seem to experience it. I removed the Magnaflow because of this.

There are some fitment issues in the present. I had to get rid of mine because the driver cat was flush against the floor board

Has anybody tried the mac prochamber with the magnaflow CB? I'm not to sure how the box helps at the crossover point.

AHH!!! $350 for an O/R pipe?! Go with the MAC O/R h-pipe. It's like $140 from 50resto.com, and it makes a huge difference! Not just in power, but the sound is godly! lol, my buddy with a mildly modded 2000 GT put one on his and knocked off 2 tenths. I knocked off 4 tenths with mine!! Maybe my stock ones were clogged?
