Anyone have any pics of the quarter window over lays. My trim is aged and i was going to refinish it myself but if these pieces look decent i may just go that route.

Don't do it, they are junk. I had them on my car for a few months, they stick out and IMO look bad. They cost $70 + shipping from LRS. Instead, spend $20 on 240/320 grit sandpaper, filler primer (or bondo if you have large cracks), new window seal, and some black trim paint.

Then all you need is some time and elbow grease. You will be much happier with the results. I just did mine a few weeks ago, here's a thread.

mine were real bad on the 89... Took some time to cover up the car, tape everything up, sand like a bastard, flexible bondo (I think for bumpers, can't remember 100%), sanding, and more sanding... build primer, primer and bumper black paint

Sooooooo worth it!

It's only an inch or two. What's the big deal?

I actually spent $30 for some used windows off CL which I plan on restoring and then swapping with my current windows.

I figure that way I can take my tone and just do the swap when ready.

Then I can restore my original windows

I'm working on some quarter window trim now. A friend gave me a set and I've been working on them at work on my lunch break. So far I've prepped them and am going to start spraying primer tomorrow. It's going to take a lot of sanding, but I'll post some pics when I'm finished.

Thanks, you can get window sealant at any parts store. I got the 3M brand, its in a black container.

BTW Take the windows off when its warm, its a PIA doing it in the cold. The old window sealant is bitch to work with in cold weather.

So what kind filler is good to use? I'd imagine something a little flexible would be best. I primed mine today and there's a few spots that could use filler.
