For those that have refinished the rubber molding on the quarter windows, which primer & paint worked well for you? I'm getting ready to refinish mine and want to know what to get. Thanks!

They also make covers not quite as nice but it doesn't look too bad

I used a high fill primer on mine because I had a lot of pitting....sand them down with 80 grit prime and repeat untill smooth them use duplicolor black trim paint and make sure to lay down a couple coats of clear once the black is dried...I redone mine a while back like this and they have held up nicely

I thought about getting the covers from 50 resto but I'm not sure how much I like the look of them. My trim is so horribly pitted its almost unbelievable how much material has been lost to wear and tear. I'm going to need some serious primer to fix em up. I'm kinda dreading doing it already!
