Hey guys I am relatively new to the forum and have a pretty basic question. My 2013 has 420 hp with premium gas. I am hoping to up it to 500 hp. Can this be done with simple bolt on mods (CAI, tuner, etc)? I don't want a power adder I would like to keep it natural. I have the magnaflow competition axel back planned for installation (I have read this will not increase hp). Any thoughts or a road map for competition is greatly appreciated. I am reasonably mechnically inclined and would be doing the work myself. Also, I live in Texas so emissions does become a factor.

All feedback is welcome and ideas/suggestions!

Simple bolt ons yes. Depends if your looking from the wheels or the crank.

Crank! Which would put over 400 at the rear, correct? Any help is much appreciated!

500RWHP is best accomplished with a blower, but that being said I'm sure if you were to put on a CAI, long tubes, some port work, cams, and tuning you might be able to get there.

Just be mindful that you WILL void warranty with headers

Thanks for the replies. I am open on the budget and am just looking for a road map. Thanks for your input and I will start with a tune and CAI. It does suck though you can't change a thing without the voiding the warranty (or should i say risk of voiding).

I'm a little late, but I recommend what we call the Initial Trifecta: Cold Air Intake, exhaust, and a tune. Which is what these guys all said. Yep, I'm late.

500 is a fairly high goal, might be easier and cost the same just to add a mild blower

It's not a fairly high goal for 500BHP the parts I listed above will do the job, however you're right it will be easier to get lets say the 525HP FRPP blower kit and call it a day.

Yeah you are right, 500hp should be manageable, would it not gain power mainly at the top end though, a blower will win in the torque department, that is where I would go, especially on a car that also gets driven on the road
