There is a really cool combo in this months popular hot rodding. Check it out.

super victor intake
afr 225 heads
comp cam 260/266 at .050 .666 .677 lift 110lsa
and it runs on 93 octane

Can anyone tell me if this combo will need a vacuum canister to run power brakes?
Do you need special headers for the 3/8" raised exhaust port on the afr 225s?

Thanks Guys
appreciate any help

You might have power assist the first or second pump of the pedal, but a cam like that won't be too much fun in traffic. You can count on sacrificing some brake assist on repeated brake pumps with that kind of duration.

If you are serious about a motor at this level call these guys:

they're coming out w/ a fox kit that would eliminate any worry about maintaining vaccum all together.

Yes i would say that that engine would need a vacuum pump in order to help with the brakes.
