I recently purchased a Novi 2000 setup for my '00 GT from a fellow in Florida.. He advertised that the setup came with a 95mm C&L MAF/55lb Motron injectors. After recieving the kit, I noticed that the MAF screws were loose. I looked at the part number, and found: F6UF-12B579-AA

From my research, this sensor is from a older non-PI MAF?! Did this guy screw me? Or, is this what's supposed to come in the 95mm C&L? It plugs into my '00 GT's harness.. although, I haven't tried tuning with it yet. What is the capacity of this combination, in the 95mm tube? Thanks..

There is no difference between a MAF for a PI vs Non-PI car. It wouldn't matter if it was a MAF off a nissan as long as the transfer curve in the EEC is correct.
That being said C&L MAF's are about the worste MAF you can get. They are notorious for voltage fluctuation, which makes them inaccurate and hard to tune. If you looking to upgrade, look at the SCT BA MAF.

Right, I understand the MAF scale table concept.. I just haven't had a chance to "real world" or even bench test this MAF to see the limit with the increased diameter of the tube. Funny that you say Nissan MAF.. I build Nissan high perf. parts for a living.. Maybe a twin turbo Z MAF would work out well?

I'm going to look into the SCT MAF.. Thanks..

I was under the impression that was a C&L part number, and I thought you were asking if it made a difference if it said it was for an lder stang. After doing a search for that part number looks like what you have is just a stock 80mm MAF. It is limited to about 350hp, so you will definetly need something bigger. The 90mm Lightning MAF is inexpensive and is good to about 450hp. If you are going much more than that you need the SCT MAF
