well my bay is getting a healty dose of dieting lol i have gotten to the smog/egr and i have a few questions the tube from the back of the heads and the tube coming up from the h pipe they run together for a second if i remove everything up to the hard lines then cut them right before they both go down...i was wondering how much pressure these are forcing.....because at my dad's auto parts store they have this two part clay that when you work between you fingers it mixes the two parts and then forms a extremely hard compound its rediculous... if for now i used it to plus the two tubes right there do you think it would be a problem ?? in the spring when i can get the car to a friends with a lift i will do the h pipe tube right and when i get someone to give me a hand i can probley remove the tube behind the heads....but i want them out now because im going to be doing plugs and wires and it would be so much easier to remove all that crap so do you guys think it will work??

You should be able to take the cross over off the heads and just plug the holes with a 9/16 bolt. Just crimp the litte tube on the h-pipe real good and maybe a little JB and your good to go.

I couldn't find a 9/16 bolt that short. I usede a helicoil first reducing it to a 1/2'' and then plugged it. A dab of high temp silicone on the threads helps also.
