My stock overflow tank is broken where the top of it mounts to the fan shroud. It has a nice sized crack where the mounting point was. It seems to be mounted pretty well at the bottom so i'm not to worried about it falling backwards into my power steering pump. I am just wondering if the crack will effect cooling any? Could it suck air into the system?

no it won't hurt but if you want it fixed you could drill a hole at both ends of the crack to stop any other cracking and then jb weld it back

or scrap it and get a universal bottle from the parts store. stick it in the fender well adjacent the battery.

i would probably just plastic weld yours. this would take care of your air concern. is the reservoir even pressurized? i dont think so (cant keep the different cars straight).

good luck.
