How often do you guys have to adjust/tweak or diagnose issues with your car? Is there anyone who has successfully installed a SC and just drove the car for years with no problems?

im not at years but right at 6 months and have seen just about all weather conditions. and have had NO problems what so ever with driveability. the t5 however doesn't like me much, neither did the clutch.

V2, KB and now Turbo. The only thing I replaced were head gaskets. 2 times were my fault for not going to the dyno and they happened back to back.
So get a tune on it so you won't detonate and you have good A/F.
I have to admit my motor is a freak b/c It saw 14#'s with the S-Trim, 10#'s @ 2K with the KB and now I have 2 tunes for the turbo boost. I have a tune for street driving @ 12psi and race tune for 21psi with the methanol.
All this on a stock motor approaching 170K. I bought the car 5 years ago with 109K. I also ran 100 shot of n2o on the car as my first power adder.
People around here with other 5.0's don't understand how my motor could last so long with the type of abuse it goes through.
From the time I start my car until I turn it off, it's beaten like a scalded dog. Under boost constantly and no detonation issues what so ever.
Motor has not been apart since it left the Ford factory in 94. Only new gaskets it's seen is hg's, headers, u/l intake, water pump and thermostat.

I will admit that I walk a very thin thread the way my car is set-up and my driving style.
My overall intent is the ride the stock block into the gound and put in another stock block when this one fails. So it's basically expendable. The long block I have waiting to go in is the motor out of my 93. It is also a stock block and I had a V-1 S-Trim on it.
