Question about superchargers

Okay, I don't know much of anything about superchargers. I know someone who has a Vortech supercharger from his 02 Mustang GT that's just collecting dust in his house. Would this work on my 96 Saleen??? It seems to me that it would mount the 96-98 the same as the 99+ Mustangs. I just don't know what the difference would be.

BTW: I don't know if this is relevant, but I have the PI intake and cams installed.

well I don't see why it wouldn't work either, the only difference in the cars was suppose to be those PI heads and all that goodness.

it should bolt up but check the mounting bracket just to make sure everything lines up

Should not be a problem to use it. you may want to contact vortech before you buy it, just to check if the pulley changes in late 01 and later cars will cause a problem. Other than that and getting it tuned after you should be good.
