The auto is a 5 speed! Seriously, the auto the new Mustangs is very good and is the same as the V8 auto. The manual in the V6 is weaker(it's a T5) than the one in the GT. You can do a lot with a tuner and an auto. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with an auto but that's up to you.

the manual is always more fun, except sitting in traffic. i've switched to an auto since i sit in too much traffic. but to each his own.

are you speaking from experience (meaning you own one with an auto) or are you BSing?

Even if he is bsing (which I don't think he is).. He is 100% correct about the auto. It is a 5 speed and pretty well set up for a factory auto.

It is also a very tunable 5 speed do a search and you will find a lot of people that have done it.

And yes I own one.

Did you look at my sig? I don't understand your reply, why would I even bother if I didn't own one? I try to help people out and get this crap. Buy what you want.
