Both my 1995 & 10996 Mustang Convertibles had a trim piece that covered from the forward edge of the trunk opening (just below the roof, statring at the weatherstriping) that extended all the way down and met the carpet on the trunk floor. It hid the area where top folds into and matched the trunk interior side panels.
My 2007 GT Conv just has painted metal in the same area and it looks unifiished to the point that I am wondering if I am missing a trim piece.
I would be interested in what other convertible owners have on their cars. I'd check with my local dealer but as of yesterday, they had no convertibles in stock.
