Im planning to get an offroad H-pipe, but i was wondering what you guys did with the emission tube coming from the smog pump? Obviously the smog pump is worthless with an offroad h-pipe, but i want to leave the pump in there and functional just in case... what did you guys do?

also, where can i get the cheapest 2.5" off road H?

seal it off with something. most people just pinch it closed. i passed emissions with my stock H-pipe without the smog pump. recently, i just removed the whole tubing for it and chunked it since its pinched closed.

i just connected my air pump to the midpipe. it's not like it hurts. just use the piece of rubber hose they give you and clamp it together. you're gonna need it once a year for emissions anyways

Yeah, I hooked mine up. The H-pipe came with the tube so I just hooked it up like it's supposed to be.
My BBK ORH was $119.00

also, what do you guys thinking about just emptying the cats

the more and more i think about it, im tempted to do so. I realize it wont flow as well, but then again, it would be saving money for other mods

I was planning the same thing, but when I looked at my friends stock hpipe, the 2 lower cats are hard to get to. When you go to hollow them out, you may not be able to get to all of the catalytic honey comb. When I thought how much trouble it would be, I bought one instead. It sounds awesome, and well worth the cast.
