Have you bumped up the timing past what the Diablo tune puts it at with their tune? And if so, how much?

Hey;
I have a predator, and mine pings with the OE tune. From what I understand with the OE tune they give you, at idle it is 14*. I live in Ca, and can only get 91
, so I am going down 10% 
at least. I would just put some 93 in, if you can get that in your area, and listen for some pinging. I am currently having a custome tune done by email for mine, to try and get ride of the pinging.

i bumped mine up .5 because i noticed that there tune at idle changes from 13-14 degrees of timing and when i bumped it up that little bit it was going from 14 to 15 degrees of timing. Dont bump the top end up .5 though it was bogging down when i floored it it seemed like. took it out and now i punch it and it goes fine
