I did the PI headswap myself about 2 weeks ago, and the car is fine and runs perfect. I do have 1 issue though......

On my 98 there were 2 sensors on the plactic lower intake(temperature & the 1 that turns on the fan). I have a 00 PI intake on it now and i've noticed that there is only 1 hole for the sensor on the passernger side and the one right behind the themostat has no where to go. Because of this my fan is on whenever the car is running. It's okay for a lil bit because my car always runs very cold(which is a good thing), but I don't wanna wear out the fan, so.......what did you guys do to take care of this????? If anything....would you have any pics to show me in better detail??

Remove the thermostat housing and tap it for the other sensor. It will work fine.
Do not try to tee it into the other sensor.

Have it tapped in the same place on the other side of the crossover...cost me 30$ to have done while on car....Won't work 100% being in the thermostat housing...
