Question on 85 GT

On my 85 gt there is a plug ,kinda like an electrical outlet, that comes out of my distributor. There is also one that is just laying against the drivers side fender. What do these plug in to? My car won't start and I'm positive that it's because of this.

they both go into the wiring harness, the one on the fender should be plugged into the ignition module, the dist. one goes into the harness..

Its carbed. Where does it plug into the wiring harness at?

No, it's missing. I planned on getting one from napa today.

wont run without it .. is the dist plugged into anything? should be a plug in the wiring harness right next to it

Thanks for the diagram. The people who had the car before me really screwed it up. There are wires going everywhere, and I'm missing some of them too.
