Wow, i just was doing some reading on jegs. Jegs states that the new crane street/strip distributor has 36 pre-programmed advance curves at the turn of a dial. Can this dial be put in the cockpit of the car? That would be awesome! Retard the timing for better gas mileage driving around, and when you want to advance it, give a turn of a switch to a pre programmed preset of your choice. I hope i read it right! :nice: :nice:
Info can be found here : http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=192848&prmenbr=361

No, the adjustment is on the side of the dist.

From Crane -
Adjustable-curve, electronic advance plus manifold-vacuum advance
Advance uses no springs or weights
Billet aluminum, CNC machined housing with ball bearings and bushings

Take a look at: Crane Dist

If that appeals to you then its worth it. I'm torn on it since I have the Hi-6 (with the PS-92 coil) as well but I'm tempted. OTOH, the reputation & product of MSD is a big thing to consider... nothing's ever easy!
