Question speed sensor pickup, driveshaft, and input shaft for t3550 amd tko?

Ok this is concerning my 03 gt. I plan on upgrading to a 3550 or a tko. Haven't decided.

For it to fit I need a new bellhousing (lakewood) with either tranny.
For the 3550 to fit I need a 87-95 driveshaft right and sue the factory input shaft
And for the TKO to fit nothing since it comes with a new input shaft and I can still keep the factory driveshaft.

let me know if any of this info is incorrect.

Also I've heard the speed sensor pickup needs to be modifed. Is this true and what needs to be done to it?

Off topic but will an aftermarket FMS driveshaft be able to work whatever your transmission is ?

Just hook right on the 3550 VSS and go. You will read REALLY slow until you recomp the speedo. Until recently most thought that you had to use an electronic compensator for this application. But you can still recomp it in the EEC. You just put in a really whacked out axle ratio I think. But it is indeed recomp'able in the EEC on the 99+ cars even with the old sytle pickoff.
