Gears will help you accelerate quicker and get you to the power band sooner and keep you there more than the stock gears.
Pulleys give you back some lost power. I've seen from 5-10 HP on average. Both will help, but you'll get more SOTP feel from the gears! I will be adding pulleys hopefully this month to see what gain I can feel from them.

GEARS! you will get more "feeling" from them, but the pulleys give you a little SOTP feel too.

How much are you guys paying installed for the gear swaps? Total price of gears and labor etc.

Go with gears, and 4.10's would be ideal if you're going to stay naturally aspirated. I paid about $480 total for FRPP 4.10's, install kit, and labor.
