hey everyone.. i'm sort of a noob when it comes to this but i have stupid question to ask. I want to s/c my car, and also what to build up the bottom end.. I've been looking at the KB.. what would i have to do to the engine in order to run this at full capacity.. (too many evos and STIs in my area.. as well as Cameros).. thanks again everyone.. my car is a 2001 GT 5 speed.. :SNSign:

Which KB, the 1.7L or the 2.2L? The 1.7L will support up to 14lbs of boost and the 2.2L will support up to 20lbs: you would need a built rear end, forged bottom end and built motor, upgraded clutch, upgraded suspension, upgraded fuel system, and a cowl hood if you were to shoot for the 20 lb 2.2L system. Or get a Vortech T-trim or NOVI 2000 with the upgrades mentioned, either way its your money.

I have two questions, please do not be offended:

How much is in your budget?
Do you plan to do any research yourself or do you expect us to spoon feed you all the information?

i say around 10grand.. like i said i don't know about the building the engine part.. supercharger i've done research on that one.. and i know which one i'm going to get.. i live in california, san jose.. thanks again

In that case, you need to limit it to 400 rwhp. The KB 1.7 would be a good choice.

Teh Tomfather does not like it when people refer to other sites. He would prefer that you spend your time here my friend. All of us would prefer that, especially in the case of Mustang Gods like yourself. Perhaps we could pay you? :D

Yea, but StangNet doesn't build engines.

That is true, but teh great Tomfather has a knee-jerk reaction to linking to other sites. He feels that too many technical experts have "jumped ship" already.

I hope I have not offended you by speaking for you oh great Tomfather :hail2:
