I really like MAC LT's. They are inexpensive and work very well. You can get them HTS coated for $329 or ceramic coated for $429. You will see a very noticable power gain. Especailly at higher RPM's - about 3500 and above. Down low it's noticable but not as substantial. Alot of guys use Hookers, Kooks, BBK, Bassani, etc...but why pay $600+ for the same thing you get from MAC headers for less??

If you are going to do the install yourself, set aside a whole weekend. The easiest way to get them in is to drop your k-member. That will allow relatively easy access. Good luck!

pardon my ignorance, I have an 03 and have been think of getting LT's for awhile myself. Are there any maintence concerns with adding lt's? In other words, problem with doing a clutch job, ground clearance or anything thing else. I'm sure these topics have probably already been brought up at some point but I missed them.
My friend put BBK's on his 95 cobra (5.0) and had all kinds of problems, exhaust leaks, EGR wouldn't line up, ground clearance and some others. What are the complications if any for the 03 4.6.
thanks, dave

Ground is a concern if you have a radically lowered car. Mine would scrape occasionaly if I took a speed bump too fast. I'm using steeda sport springs.

I never had any trouble with my LT's.
