hello. i put a c-4 tranny in my 91 lx and i need to know what to do about the speedometer cable. is there a conversion kit? i'm running a 4.10 gear so i also need to know what color gear to use.
if anyone can lend some insight i'd appreciate it.
I would just put in the trans and see how far off it is, you may need to go up or down one size or it may be just fine. Most of the c4 conversions i've done have been fine.

Have not been there yet, but I think the T5 and auto speedo gears have opposite gear teeth orientation. I believe C4 and aod gears both work. The highest tooth count availble is a 21 or 23 tooth I think.
The easiest fix is to get a C4 cable and housing. An AOD cable may also work.
