I am going to take my car into the local performance shop this week to have them check out a few problems, I also think I should get a Tune up as it has never had one since I got it. my question is what kinda things are done during your basic tune up, is there anything special I should have them do or look for, what is the ball park cost. sorry if this sounds like a dumb ass question just wanna make sure everythings done right

depends what shop rates are where you live i work at a shop with an excellent reputaion and a huge customer base the only problem is our labor rate is $89 hr and $100 for diagnostics so if you were to come to my shop it would cost around 750 or so not an exact # because im a tech not a service writer anyways it will probably be cheaper where you take your car just make sure you trust them

a tune up is an easy back yard job... buy a hanes manual and a cheapo set of tools and get all the parts at an autozone or something....

id recomend u going some single platnum because you wont have to change them for many miles... but if u like working on ur car and want really good plugs id go with some ngk tr55 copper plugs or some 764

All that stuff is easily done, do it yourself. Get Haynes manual and read the entire www.bullittarchive.com website and you will be ready.
