Say I bought the tweecer. Would I be able to just throw the 30s on there on the stock maf as long as its not pegging it voltage wise? If so that would save me at least 100 dollars maybe even more like 130 at least for now. That would be a better step in getting me a tweecer....
First of all, I want to tell you that some of this stuff ... Well ... I can only
speculate about.
If you look at my sig combo, I fired it up with the t4m0 file with appropriate
slope and offsets for those 30's.
It ran half way decent if accelerating but was too rich at idle and cruise.
It died at stop lights ... It bucked & surged ... and all those terrible kinds
of drivability issues you have always heard about.
I moved over the the j4j1 file with the same small amount of changes I
had in the t4m0 and with that one quick upload, about 85% of my
dirvbility issues were gone.
Said that stuff to show you I never have tried to run that combo on an
unmodified pcm.
I would say you would be close to pegging the oem meter but you may
not do it.
Remember ... if you did peg it ... it would be on the upper end of the rpm
range so you could just hold down the r's for a while if you needed to.
I'd go ahead and use that meter and those 30's and see how it goes
Of course ... the Tweecer is needed to give you those options
