quick gt40 intake question. 93 lower on 95 cobra upper?

My dad has a 95 gt and I was wondering if a gt40 lower from a 93 and down would work on a 94-95 cobra upper?

I took a look at the intake manifold on my '95, but I can't see any casting numbers with everything installed. That being said, I do know that the Ford part number for the 1993 lower intake is F3ZZ-9424-D. If I recall correctly, it's the same lower intake found on early 5.0 Explorers, the GT40 intake, and the 94-95 Cobras. I don't know 100%, but I'd be willing to bet that it would work.

Yes. They use same gasket, they'll work.

Yup they will work. Only difference between the FOX vs SN95 were the uppers (elbow area).

That and the 93' older has the EGR routed through the intake, but the newer upper will just block that path and make it irrelevant.
