If ya hafta, ya can cutt of the bolt heads with a Dremel cutoff wheel (1.25" dia) and pull the starter off and turn the headless bolts ('studs') out with vise-grips. Just my .02

if all else fails (hopefully the bolt-outs work), you could put some heat on the heads, then take a slightly smaller socket and beat it on. Let the bolt head cool a bit, and try that. Then youll have to put the bolt in a vice and do the reverse order to get the socket back. It will take a little time, but its worth it if it gets the bolts out right?

Screw Removal bits work great too if it comes down to cutting off the bolt head. Just drill out the center and cram a removal bit in the center, worked for my broken head bolts.

i second that.. they have a reverse spline so as long as you dont break the head right off the bolt, I guarantee it will get them out.. I got my locking lugnuts off when i broke the key with one, and they were torqued on there f'n tight.

wow thank you guys so so so so much. I played around with these 2 bolts for hours and the bolt outs worked perfect. They didnt exactly get the bolts out but they cracked the head off and i got the stater off. My bellhousing is cracked anyway so i dont have ot worry about the rest of the bolt stuck in there.

summary......
stripped bolts = Bolt Outs

Sorry about your bellhousing. But at least you didn't have a good bell, spend like 2 hours trying to get the bolts out, and mess it up yourself.
