Alright well some mother****er was to cheap to replace 2 ****in bolts and im trying to change my clutch. The starter bolts are both stripped on. i already tried pb blaster, wd 40, propane torch, and locking pliers. What else can i do? I also beat the **** out of it with a hammer. im so pissed because i could of been done yesterday and here it is today and im messing with 2 little bolts. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks - Dave

if all else fails (hopefully the bolt-outs work), you could put some heat on the heads, then take a slightly smaller socket and beat it on. Let the bolt head cool a bit, and try that. Then youll have to put the bolt in a vice and do the reverse order to get the socket back. It will take a little time, but its worth it if it gets the bolts out right?

The Bolt Outs from Sears are awesome.

Good luck.

i second that.. they have a reverse spline so as long as you dont break the head right off the bolt, I guarantee it will get them out.. I got my locking lugnuts off when i broke the key with one, and they were torqued on there f'n tight.

wow thank you guys so so so so much. I played around with these 2 bolts for hours and the bolt outs worked perfect. They didnt exactly get the bolts out but they cracked the head off and i got the stater off. My bellhousing is cracked anyway so i dont have ot worry about the rest of the bolt stuck in there.

summary......
stripped bolts = Bolt Outs :nice:
