I just got back my pedals from Mustang Steve. They look great.

I do have one question though that I'd like feedback on. There is one small tab welded to the clutch pedal that I don't believe I need. But I'm not sure because I got the pedals bare... no springs or hardware. I think that little tab is for the factory Z bar design. Should I just cut it off?

Also, there is another bar welded to the other side of the clutch pedal that has the stop on one end... and nothing on the other. Again, I think this piece is for the factory set up. Should I cut off the end opposite the stop portion? I don't want anything I don't need or use.

I'm going to attach a pic for clarification.

Yes, that's for the underdash big return spring, normally used with the three finger clutch setup. You probably don't need it if you're installing a diaphram clutch because you'll have a return spring on the fork, I'm sure. It won't be in the way of anything so I'd just leave it on.

Yes, I am using the diaphram Centerforce clutch. I just figured why have it if I'll never use it.
