quick question about engine overhaul

just wondering how much it would cost to get my engine overhauled if I wasn't doing it myself, have my engine apart in the garage now, sending my heads and block out, and doing everything else myself, just started to wonder how much I was actually saving! LOL , thanks for the feedback.

If it was a complete rebuild i'de say in the neighborhood of $2k, If it were an ordinary overhaul, i'de say something like $1,200 - most of it being labor.
